About SinisterDan…

Sinister Dan, “the ‘Chi”, New Brunswick, Canada

Is a former graduate student of Philosophy who was cruelly forced to go out and get a real job. This exposure to ‘real people’ has enamored Sinister Dan of the notion that knowledge is rare and that knowledgeable people being reasonable is almost entirely unheard of. The author expects to be no exception to this rule.

The Sinister One is an avid student of politics and continues to pursue his informal education in philosophy, writing, ethics, history, a little science, NFL football and the careful preparation and consumption food. He is not under the impression that he does any of these things very well. Sinister Dan is a Highly Concerned Safety Professional in an industry that has some very large moving parts.

He lives in eastern Canada, in a spot that he previously believed to be a dot of bug poop on the map. He shares his residence with three people, presumably his wife and daughters. Sinister Dan is not actually named Dan, nor is it thought that he is terribly sinister. Sinister Dan is not GK Chesterton.

  • Hey Dan,

Your site looks great. Is it a wordpress theme or did you design it yourself? Thank you for commenting at Julius Bloop – I’m wondering if you’d like to do a blogroll exchange? Let me know – I’ll make a post later in the week promoting your site if you want.

    Sincerely,
    Kevin Lieber

  • GK…Dan…Oh sinister one…whatever the hell you want to call yourself; I find your writing deceptively interesting.

Deceptive because it hides itself in the kind of wit one might expect from our British friends across the pond, while actually residing just above our heads in a place we Americans all love to blame.

And interesting because it’s just flat out funny!

Looking forward to your next post.

  • Thanks for dropping by , I enjoyed visiting yours as well and will be back.

  • Sinister Dan,

I must say, your site makes RUFKM.net look like it was created by 5 year olds. BTW, thanks for visting RUFKM.net. I appreciate the comment on my post. We’d love to add your site as a link to ours, if you’d be willing to do the same. Let me know what you think – The Dark Lord, http://www.rufkm.net. mexicanmeathelmet@gmail.com.

  • Your site looks like a lot of fun and I will be back for sure when things settle down, relatively speaking, next week…at least I think they will. Thanks for commenting on Kitchen Retro -

  • I’m adding you to my blogroll…
    :)

  • Oh, you aren’t GK Chesterton? I’m glad that’s all cleared up.

Come on, you are. Admit it! It’s not like the Father Brown stories stank …

  • I visited your blog and I was wondering if I can recommend it. Although ours is not a humor website, we can all use a good laugh in this world where there are a lot of things not to laugh about. I am sure my visitors would appreciate websites like yours. Let me know if this is ok. Thanks for your time and take care.
